(do-install): Don't abort if ln or chmod at the end

of the installation fail.  Suggested by Karl Berry.

(*clean): Use "$(MAKE) $(MAKEFLAGS)" wherever "make"
was used.  Set MAKEFLAGS from MFLAGS.
