c75cfabd5a Use $EMACS to say where to run Emacs. 
Add --no-update option.

(copying src): Check thoroughly for symlinks
and copy them in all cases.  Regularize the linking of *.in
and *.opt and ChangeLog files.
(copying lib-src): Likewise.
Don't rm getdate.c or y.tab.*--they don't exist any more.

In nt. copy various different things, but not *.cmd.
Fix the ln commands for the subdirs of nt.

375f1bd711 (lib-src): Don't copy *.lex; it doesn't exist anymore. 
(man): Don't copy texindex.c and getopt.c; they're deleted.
(etc): Omit `e'; it's a subdirectory.
(etc/e): Use `../..', not `..', to reference top level.
