emacs/lisp/cus-start.el
Lars Ingebrigtsen 591b8bd87a Add new variable 'kill-buffer/delete-auto-save-files'
* doc/emacs/files.texi (Auto Save Files): Document it.
* lisp/cus-start.el (standard): Add customize form.

* lisp/files.el (delete-auto-save-files): Move definition to C
(since it's used in the C layer).

* src/buffer.c (Fkill_buffer): Use the new variable (and remove
the old code that apparently didn't trigger for
kill-buffer/delete-auto-save-files.
(syms_of_buffer): Add new variable
kill-buffer-delete-auto-save-files and move definition of
delete-auto-save-files here (bug#21612).

;;; Commentary:
;; This file adds customize support for built-in variables.
;; While dumping Emacs, this file is loaded, but it only records
;; the standard values; it does not do the rest of the job.
;; Later on, if the user makes a customization buffer,
;; this file is loaded again with (require 'cus-start);
;; then it does the whole job.
;;; Code:
(defun minibuffer-prompt-properties--setter (symbol value)
(set-default symbol value)
(if (memq 'cursor-intangible value)
(add-hook 'minibuffer-setup-hook #'cursor-intangible-mode)
;; Removing it is a bit trickier since it could have been added by someone
;; else as well, so let's just not bother.
))
;; Elements of this list have the form:
;; SYMBOL GROUP TYPE VERSION REST...
;; SYMBOL is the name of the variable.
;; GROUP is the custom group to which it belongs (may also be a list
;; of groups)
;; TYPE is the defcustom :type.
;; VERSION is the defcustom :version (or nil).
;; REST is a set of :KEYWORD VALUE pairs. Accepted :KEYWORDs are:
;; :standard - standard value for SYMBOL (else use current value)
;; :set - custom-set property
;; :risky - risky-local-variable property
;; :safe - safe-local-variable property
;; :tag - custom-tag property
