EWMH/NetWM compatible X Window Manager.
It provides command line access to almost all the features defined in
the EWMH specification. Using it, it's possible to, for example, obtain
information about the window manager, get a detailed list of desktops
and managed windows, switch and resize desktops, change number of
desktops, make windows full-screen, always-above or sticky, and
activate, close, move, resize, maximize and minimize them.

install files conflicting with files from kdebase-3.1.x. Declare CONFLICTS
as appropriate. This will not fix automatic portupgrading, but at least
things should go smoothly with the necessary manual intervention of pkg_
deleting kdebase-3.1.x. Sorry. :-(
Important changes:
==================
- Kmail and knode have been moved from kdenetwork to kdepim. This
means you will have to install kdepim if you want to continue using
kmail or knode. This is to ease integration with korganizer, in
the new 'Kontact' application.
- The arabic translations for KDE and KOffice have been moved from
misc to the arabic category.
- There is a new module called kdeaccessibility in the accessibility
category. It contains a few utilities for disabled users like a
magnification lens and a text-to-speech frontend.
- In KDM, you need to select the 'CUSTOM' session profile in order
to have your .xsession executed. This is particularly important if
you're using the aegypten tools
(http://freebsd.kde.org/howtos/aegypten-kmail.php).
- We have started making more parts of the ports optional. In kdepim,
both Kandy and KPilot can be turned off with ports-knobs. This
process will continue in the 3.2 series.
GNOME Clipboard Daemon is a program that keeps the content of your X
clipboard in memory, so the clipboard won't get lost even after you close the
application you copied from. It's a daemon - it has no GUI. You start it and
it'll run inthe background and Just Work(tm).
Example:
1. Start AbiWord.
2. Type in 'hello world'. Select everything and click Copy.
3. Close AbiWord.
4. Start gedit.
5. Click Paste. Normally nothing will happen. But if GNOME Clipboard
Daemon is running, pasting will work.

since ito makes using package tools hard, is marked as FATAL by
portlint and otherwise doesn't affect the port, fix it silently.

end user a more powerful and more useful Desktop Environment.
4.0.3:
- Leak in window manager's pixmap management
- Various file manager fixes
- Translation updates
- Support for KDE system tray was added
4.0.2:
* Improve window manager responsiveness
* Various bug fixes in file manager, window manager and panel
* More 64bit clean up
* New translation added: Azerbaijani
API reference for KDE 3.1
Note that the port is installed in ports/x11 and not in ports/devel
to keep it closer to the kde3 libraries which are installed in
ports/x11. Changed the name to match the gtk##-apireference for
concistensy[sp].

* Stability/compilation bugfixes
* Configure/automake improvements
* Escreen bugfixes (still alpha)
* Support for one more key name (XK_ISO_Left_Tab)
* Support for more color change sequences
By doing this, we are trying to create more useful GNOME meta-ports that
contain more pointed sets of applications.
The GNOME 2 Fifth Toe is a collection of stable applications that many users
expect to find in a usable desktop environment.
