Fix /usr/local/palm vs /usr/local/pilot (I got dyslexic at last second).
Turn on optimization where it makes sense.

Oops, that was not the problem -- fix PREFIX. Either way, I have no
idea how this worked for anyone.
Mark it broken (strip problem). I believe pst is working on it.

Create ${PREFIX} (= ${LOCALBASE}/palm) before installing. mtree won't
create the base directory for you.
