Code Issues Releases Activity

(compilation-exit-message-function): New variable.

Browse Source 
(compilation-sentinel): If compilation-exit-message-function is non-nil,
call it to produce messages for buffer and mode line.
(grep): Use that variable to produce snazzier messages.
