d1882ac7c9 Fix bug #7308 with `locate' on MS-Windows. 
dired.el (dired-get-filename): Replace backslashes with slashes
 in file names on MS-Windows, needed by `locate'.
 locate.el (locate-default-make-command-line): Don't consider
 drive letter and root directory part of
 `directory-listing-before-filename-regexp'.
 (locate-post-command-hook, locate-post-command-hook): New defcustoms.

7b26001712 (locate-current-search): New variable. 
(locate): Set buffer local value.  Use current buffer if it is in Locate mode.
(locate-mode): Disable undo here.
(locate-do-setup): Use locate-current-filter from buffer to be killed.

9bc260cfb7 * files.el (directory-listing-before-filename-regexp): New 
defvar.  Replaces `dired-move-to-filename-regexp' from dired.el.

* dired.el (dired-move-to-filename-regexp): Removed.  All
occurences replaced by `directory-listing-before-filename-regexp'.

* dired-x.el, locate.el, vc.el: Replace
`dired-move-to-filename-regexp' by
`directory-listing-before-filename-regexp'.  In vc.el it is
overwritten locally; maybe this can be handled in files.el too.

* net/ange-ftp.el (ange-ftp-date-regexp): Removed.  All occurences
replaced by `directory-listing-before-filename-regexp'.

* faq.texi (Bugs and problems): Replace
`dired-move-to-filename-regexp' by
`directory-listing-before-filename-regexp'.

fe8c721271 (locate): Show default locate pattern within the 
prompt, but don't insert it into the minibuffer contents.  Catch
