e3e7faeda3 Fix the adns library version so it matches the internal soname. This sets 
the lib version back to 1, but since the dependencies still linked to
libadns.so.1 even when the installed file was libadns.so.12, a new
PORTREVISION bump is not needed.

c49d1a3273 Remove the FreeBSD KEYWORD from all rc.d scripts where it appears. 
We have not checked for this KEYWORD for a long time now, so this
is a complete noop, and thus no PORTREVISION bump. Removing it at
this point is mostly for pedantic reasons, and partly to avoid
perpetuating this anachronism by copy and paste to future scripts.

5c54054346 Convert .error to IGNORE when a port-specific combination of otherwise 
legal user-configurable variables is encountered; such an occurrence
should not prevent global tasks like INDEX builds, only the build of
the port in question.

c10bbfdfaf [NEW PORT] dns/ldns: A library for programs conforming to DNS RFCs and drafts 
Ldns is a library to simplify implementaition of recent DNS
	RFCs. The goal is to allow depelopers to easily create
	software conforming to current RFCs and experimental software
	for current Internet drafts.  Because ldns is written in C
	it should be a lot faster than Perl or other scripting
	languages.

ec9bf19b91 Upgrade to 0.55, an emergency release to fix a problem with TCP 
sockets introduced in 0.54. Anyone who upgraded to 0.54 should
upgrade to this version ASAP.

187c534c83 Update port: dns/dnrd (bug fix release)

64bab3473c Fix a long-standing problem that appears when users install 
openssl from ports, and do not use the option to have the port
version overwrite the base version.

Several folks have mentioned this problem in the past, but a
good workaround (and more importantly, solid testing) were
provided by the submitter.

e993e4bbce dns/idnkit: runidn does nothing 
nstallbug + non-function

	libidnkutres.la doesn't get installed.
	"Have you installed idnkit?  I cannot find libidnkitres.la."

	When it is copied into /usr/local/lib,
	the errormessage disappears, but there is no function.

At least by making it run, there is a chance that somebody will fix it.

54a0b86543 Mass-conversion to the USE_AUTOTOOLS New World Order. The code present 
in bsd.autotools.mk essentially makes this a no-op given that all the
old variables set a USE_AUTOTOOLS_COMPAT variable, which is parsed in
exactly the same way as USE_AUTOTOOLS itself.

Moreover, USE_AUTOTOOLS has already been extensively tested by the GNOME
team -- all GNOME 2.12.x ports use it.

Preliminary documentation can be found at:

which is in the process of being SGMLized before introduction into the
Porters Handbook.

cfda064524 For the ports that I maintain, do the following as appropriate: 
1. Add myself as a backup master site (Sourceforge and CPAN ports
already have good enough coverage, so skip them).
2. For all ports that have them, download the PGP signature files.
3. For ports in 2, add a verify target to the Makefile
4. For ports where I was already providing a master site, update the URL.
5. Pet portlint in a couple of places.

ae7664b0f8 Take over maintainership, approved by edwin (old maintainer). 
Update to the latest, 0.9.3. This version moves to a more typical
Perl-style Makefile.PL structure, and splits the functionality into
a library and a binary. This necessitates changes to the port structure,
including re-adding the pkg-plist file.

While I'm here, make portlint happy with the IGNORE statement.

700756844d This issue was researched by glebius, and this patch was 
incorporated by ISC into the next version of BIND.

The patch addresses a problem with high-load resolvers which
hit memory barriers. Without this patch, running the resolving
name server out of memory would lead to "unpredictable results."

Of course, the canonical answer to this problem is to put more
memory into the system, however that is not always possible, and
the code should be able to handle this situation gracefully in
any case.

48c2b9e908 Upgrade to the eagerly anticipated 0.52. If you are using a version 
of this module later than 0.49, you should definitely upgrade, as
this version fixes several bugs in the new code.

If running Perl < 5.6, make addition of the IPv6 modules optional
as 0.52 of this module fixes the bugs that made it mandatory.

7bcac54531 Upgrade to 0.51, which fixes extra debugging that should not have
