- Use USE_GNOME= ltverhack to correct the library version number
to what the author intended. This effectively rolls the version
number backwards, but should prevent future unneccesary version
bumps.
- Support staging
- Use options helpers
- Use new LIB_DEPENDS syntax
- Bump PORTREVISION on dependent ports
after r254273
- Fix a bunch of ports to properly work after this
- Mark converters/libiconv as IGNORE for systems with iconv in libc

Discussed with: bapt, bsam (who both contributed ideas and code)
backends the dependency on aspell isn't necessary anymore.
- Also remove dependency on pinentry-gtk2 to allow users to install one of
the other pinentry ports.
- Remove bsd.openssl.mk hack.

- Change pkgconfig:build to pkgconfig since it's the same and it's bad practice.
It accidentally slipped in during the original introduction
- Trim header

in bsd.autotools.mk essentially makes this a no-op given that all the
old variables set a USE_AUTOTOOLS_COMPAT variable, which is parsed in
exactly the same way as USE_AUTOTOOLS itself.
Moreover, USE_AUTOTOOLS has already been extensively tested by the GNOME
team -- all GNOME 2.12.x ports use it.
Preliminary documentation can be found at:
http://people.FreeBSD.org/~ade/autotools.txt
which is in the process of being SGMLized before introduction into the
Porters Handbook.
