cf86e6c3cd This has been on my TODO list for awhile. Spegla is an FTP mirroring 
program that uses neither perl nor masses of memory when mirroring
large collections (like at ftp.freebsd.org).  I did the port but the
author is Jens A Nilsson <jnilsson@ludd.luth.se>

acd19d78e8 Add NO_LATEST_LINK -- these are not the latest versions, and we shouldn't 
depend on ordering in the parent Makefiles for the links to be created
correctly.

0cfd42308a Make this thing syslog(3) like the stock ftpd(8). 
We now use facility FTP vs. DAEMON, and many LOG_NOTICEs were down graded
to LOG_INFO.  Out of the box, this thing will fill your `messages' file
so full, you'd never see anything else in it again, on a busy ftp server.

d44a58abe9 Define NO_LATEST_LINK for net/ncftp3 and www/squid12 because these are 
unstable betas with better versions in the tree.  (There are probably more

9eb9d5227b Rip off the patch to ftpd.c and one to access.c from patch-ai and 
merge ftpd.c patch to patch-ad and access.c patch to patch-af.
(As clearly stated in the handbook, a file should be changed only by
one patch.)

bd990e6999 Update ncftp2.4.1 -> 2.4.2 
Removed my patch for the extra characters in the passwd prompt caused by
the long-standing (but now fixed in development sources) ncurses problem

95137d2010 Oh my goodness! Satoshi is finally fed up and decided to "clean up" 
all the COMMENTs!  No package names, no version numbers, no "this is
absolutix-3.1.2" type comments that have zero information contents.

Now, without any bad examples to follow, nobody has an excuse to import
a port with those kind of comments. :)

Phew!  238 ports modified!

22a7b49cc4 Work around what appears to be a ncurses bug. The command line at the 
bottom of the screen can sometimes have stray characters left behind from
the previous command.  This seems to be because ncurses is ignoreing
a ``wprintw(window, "%s", " ")'' when it's in the last column of a window.
I dont know who is right, ncurses or ncftp.

This workaround also makes the code a little cleaner as a side effect. :-)
