75d9e26c08 Upgrade to beta 1.4-980105. (screen redraw problem with 'K' fixed) 
Use sed to patch the manpage as they keep reformating it.  Also makes it
  PREFIX adhearent.

fa5dde5a30 This is a new port for egcs, which probably stands for something 
like "enhanced GNU compiler suite."  It contains updated versions of
gcc, g++, and g77 with many bugfixes and some new optimizations.
The C++ compiler in particular is vastly improved over gcc-2.7.2.1.

A serious bug with transient windows fixed, other small bugs fixed.
New build-in functions for tiling windows.

This should work with locales > 8 bit by default now.
