c42cc3ec22 (1) Add a new MASTER_SITE

(3) Remove reference to Phil Karn's ssh speedups, it is now distributed
    as a full source package, and not a patch kit. If we want to use it,
    we will have to make a new port for it.
(4) Use ${ECHO} instead of echo, ${RM} instead of rm, ${LN} instead of ln
(5) Use ${FALSE} instead of false
(6) Remove multiple blank lines in Makefile
(7) Remove trailing blank lines in pkg/DESCR

404c5d2aeb Remove portmap_tcpd (it's the same as the one in the base system). After a 
brief discussion on -committers, tcp_wrappers will be imported into the base
system which will allow us to build our system portmapper with hosts.allow
functionality.

1099b7a228 Set ONLY_FOR_ARCHS to i386. 
Apply openssl-0.9.1c-bnrec.patch via PATCHFILES:

"DESCRIPTION:
The Big Number (BN) library in OpenSSL 0.9.1c has some problems when dealing
with very large numbers. Because mostly all other OpenSSL sub-libraries
(including the RSA library) are based on BN, this can cause failures when
doing certificate verification and performing other SSL functions. These BN
bugs are already fixed for OpenSSL 0.9.2. But for OpenSSL 0.9.1c the easiest
workaround to fix the subtle problems is to apply the above patch which mainly
disables the broken Montgomery multiplication algorithm inside BN."

5114e2637e Adjust port Makefiles to new EXTRACT_* variable defaults. See log of 
bsd.port.mk rev. 1.304 for details on the change.

The fix here is one of the following.

(1) Define USE_BZIP2 instead of BUILD_DEPENDS on bzip2 and redefining
    EXTRACT_* commands.

(2) Change ${EXTRACT_CMD} to ${TAR} when the command is obviously
    calling the "tar" command (i.e., arguments like "-xzf" are spelled
    out).

(3) If ${EXTRACT_CMD} is called directly with ${EXTRACT_BEFORE_ARGS},
    add ${EXTRACT_AFTER_ARGS} to the command line as well.

(4) If any of EXTRACT_CMD, EXTRACT_BEFORE_ARGS or EXTRACT_AFTER_ARGS
    is set, define the other two too.

fb85680370 Bring this port up to openssl-0.9.1c after a repository copy from SSLeay. 
OpenSSL is a successor of SSLeay (see http://www.openssl.org/).

This port uses almost the same files as SSLeay. So they can't be
installed both.

- make the port ${PREFIX} clean
- reorganize PLIST (list links as normal files, which makes the PLIST
  shorter and easier to maintain)
- reference ${PREFIX}/etc/ssleay.cnf only (there was a reference to
  ${PREFIX}/lib/ssleay.cnf somewhere)
- some other minor portlint changes

8f11472006 Upgrade to the first pre-release of KDE 1.1. 
This port requireat least s version 1.41 of the Qt library.
There will be an error reported by configure, if only an earlier
version is found, but no automatic port dependency exists (i.e.
the x11-toolkits/qt141 port has to be manually built and installed).

There may still be a problem with a missing -lXext in the kdesupport
port. This will be taken care of during the next few days, if the
problem still exists ...

4b07f0329b Change *_DEPENDS on lang/perl5 to USE_PERL5 so we won't have any 
dependencies to perl5 in -current.  This might cause some unwanted
perl5 installations on -stable (if it was originally RUN_DEPENDS,
perl5 will now be installed during build too, etc.), but its lifetime
is limited anyway.

This program filters the tcpump raw packet data looking for logins and
passwords on the most commonly used tcp ports (ftp telnet pop3 ...).
It dumps sniffed data to a file named sniff.log

4cb8e70952 Import of abacus sentry v 0.61 
Sentry is part of the Abacus Project suite of security tools.
It is a program designed to detect and respond to port scans
against a target host in real-time. There are other port scan
detectors that peform similar detection of scans,but the Sentry
has some unique features that may make it worth looking into.

431133bf98 * Fix compiling on 3.0.x. They include headers in the most non-"standard" 
order I've ever seen.  Haven't these guys ever done Unix programming
  before?
* Quiet some compiling warnings.  For "security" software, this code should
  NOT have as many warnings and unused vars as it does.

4bc2255958 1. Update base ssh2 version from 2.0.9 to 2.0.11 
Ssh 2.0.9 has bugs abount updating utmp/wtmp file.

2. Now you can compile ssh2 to support TCP_Wrapper
   (security/tcp_wrapper) when you define USE_TCPWRAP=YES

3. Fix typo in MASTER_SITES
   (Thanks to Chris Piazza <norn@home.net>)

4. Use /usr/lib/libz.so.* instead of libz in ssh2 source file.

5. Delete some obsolute pathes.

f896e54ddc nmap is a utility for port scanning large networks 
Sometimes you need speed, other times you may need stealth. In some cases,
bypassing firewalls may be required. Not to mention the fact that you may
want to scan different protocols (UDP, TCP, ICMP, etc.).
You just can't do all this with one scanning mode.  Thus nmap
incorporats virtually every scanning technique known of.

18f33c0f93 Change JPEG shared library number to 9. This is to make sure that everyone 
installs the version of the port that uses shared library number 9 and the
LIBRARY_VERSION set to the default.  Normally this is against our policy
(bumping the version number for minor things), however due to the major
problems caused with the upgrade, Satoshi and I decided that this was best.

860a3719d8 Minor correction- 
The CERT FTP site no longer contains Tripwire.  A little digging and
sleuthing reveals that Spaf has the stuff over at coast.cs.purdue.edu
anyways.  It appears that it might move again in the future, see

ab4c4c3135 (1) Move the following ports out of x11/: 
kdegames   -> games/
    kdenetwork -> net/
    kdesupport -> converters/
    kdeutils   -> misc/

    (Repository copy already done, dependency path and category name fixups
     is being done in this commit.)

(2) Add a virtual category "kde" and add all six (incl. x11/kde{base,lib})
    ports.

(3) Make package names follow the convention.

(4) Change "BUILD_DEPENDS=${X11R6}/bin/moc:..." to "...=moc:...".
    There is no need to specify the full pathname if the target is an
    executable in the standard path.  (Actually, as the same port is
    specified in LIB_DEPENDS, I think we can completely do away with
    this line but since Stefan added this explicitly, I assume there
    is a reason for it and left it alone.)

4b40e7aa2b Prevent this server error message: 
fatal: Local: Agent socket bind failed: Address already in use

It would happen when the server tried to create the Unix domain
socket "/tmp/ssh-username/agent-socket-123", if the file already
existed.  It could already exist if it happened to be left over from
a system crash.  This patch unlinks the file before attempting the
bind operation.

I will send this patch to ssh-bugs@cs.hut.fi too.

25c2756dd9 Update from ssh-1.2.19 to ssh-1.2.20. All patches applied still, I just 
regenerated them to fix the line numbers.  Also, I added two commented out
options in Makefile, one to tell sshd that a group writeable homedir
is OK because all users are in their own group, and the other is to allow
an unencrypted connection (which is dangerous since it can lead to
compromise of keys), but on a secure network it's damn useful for backups
etc.

fc543e03c6 Super is a setuid-root program that offers 
o  restricted setuid-root access to executables, adjustable
        on a per-program and per-user basis;

    o  a relatively secure environment for scripts, so that well-written
        scripts can be run as root (or some other uid/gid), without
        unduly compromising security.

Changed floppy generation code to chmod gunzip to executable by a
better strategic location for the chmod command.  The former code
failed to do this, meaning gunzip couldn't be run from the floppy.

39591c1e02 New port, strobe: 
strobe   is  a  network/security  tool  that  locates  and
describes all listening tcp ports on a (remote) host or on
many hosts in a bandwidth utilisation maximising, and pro-
cess resource minimizing manner.

strobe approximates a parallel finite state machine inter-
nally. In non-linear multi-host mode it attempts to appor-
tion bandwidth and sockets amoung  the  hosts  very  effi-
ciently.   This  can  reap  appreciable gains in speed for
multiple distinct hosts/routes.

67faab29d6 Make one of our changes for -current work on 2.1. In -current, rresvport() 
ignores it's argument (it's meaningless, the kernel keeps the state), but
2.1.x use it.  ssh was effectively giving a random port to 2.1.

82e68e552b Add a compile option so that identd will send encrypted cookies out rather 
than usernames.  This makes it much more difficult for somebody to "frame"
one of your users.

ie: instead of people getting:
   connect from peter@spinner.DIALix.COM
in their syslogs, they will get this instead:
   connect from [W+rNvCy5FuPV4xEj8thdXIlfD9qNIbzB]@spinner.DIALix.COM

The remote site will have to send it to you to decode it.  When you are
given one of these cookies, you can know for sure it is not faked, and you
don't have to trust the word of the remote sysadmin when arranging your
local lame hacker-type user to meet with an unfortunate incident :-).

This feature is documented in the man pages.

Also, fix an apparent bug in the code that deals with this, but it might
be a feature of the version of libdes we have on FreeBSD.

3c3ae1773e It fixes a really annoying error 
reporting bug which happens if the remote end uses tcp_wrappers to control
sshd access (it says something like "read: no such file or directory" or
"read: permission denied" instead of "connection closed").  I already sent it
in to the ssh mailing list.

95137d2010 Oh my goodness! Satoshi is finally fed up and decided to "clean up" 
all the COMMENTs!  No package names, no version numbers, no "this is
absolutix-3.1.2" type comments that have zero information contents.

Now, without any bad examples to follow, nobody has an excuse to import
a port with those kind of comments. :)

Phew!  238 ports modified!

3c3b1d9e1b Dont install identconn or itest, installing itest requires root access, 
meaning it will silently fail if you (say) install as "bin".  This makes
the packaging break.  (Will the package tools install the setuid-root
binary anyway?)

They were not particularly useful anyway, they are mainly diagnostic tools
to parse the output of 'netstat' to see which users have what local
connections open.

702bf4b966 Several fixes/improvements :- 
- protect the secret RSA etc/ssh_host_key.  It is now generated on install
   (either by pkg_add or make install) if not already present and is not
   ever added to a package since it's your host's credentials.  It should
   not be removed on pkg_delete, since you are in big trouble if you did
   this (for example) pkg_delete ssh-1.2.14; pkg_add ssh-1.2.15.tgz.
 - fix the broken manpage symlink when compressing man pages (slogin.1
   has been causing /etc/weekly to generate cron messages)
 - zlib 1.0.4 is now "blessed" again, the ssh working sources now use this
   instead of v0.95. The decompression problem was fixed in either 1.0.3
   or 1.0.4.  Also, the current version of cvs uses zlib 1.0.4 as well..
 - perl5.002 -> perl5.003

5d9049b6c3 Turn off the unconditional use of USE_PIPES as it prevents rdist from using 
ssh for transport.  FreeBSD does not have the implementation bugs that some
other systems appear to have, this option only hurts us.

2d686b6259 SSLeay version 0.6.2. 
This implementation has been built with Our ((actually its own but in our
source tree) DES library and our MD{45}. You will need to link your SSL
code with -ldes and -lmd.

ssh-askpass no longer uses wish, so chop the make rules that attempt to
locate it.
Go further to try and protect the ssh_host_key, since it's critical to
