aff58f9ad5 Upgrade (downgrade?) to v1.0.
Explanation: this port used to use the Linux quake client in server mode. It now uses the BSD/OS dedicated server binary, which has lower CPU and memory footprint, and has a different version numbering scheme.

9610d07430 Donald told me, that with -current the NAS port isn't compileable
and installable. Nethack-qt gets some hangs, if the sound system
isn't working ... So I better mark nethack-qt as broken ...

I can't verify this myself, because I run -current just before the
lite2 kernel changes. All I can say, in this version of -current
the nas port compiles and runs fine. I checked this !

If someone with the latest -current could have a look at nas please.

Thanks. And now have fun playing, fetching a running nas port might
be a workaround.

724bd478c9 NetHack with Qt interface. Version 0.9 (for NetHack 3.2.2)
by Warwick Allison warwick@cs.uq.edu.au.

The Qt interface has these extra features:

Tiles (graphics) in the inventory and other item-menu windows.
The player cursor changes colour as your relative hit-points drop.
The message window greys-out older message.
The item menus allow a count (click to left of icon - hidden feature).
Icons for the major attributes and player states.
Menus (only needed by newbie dungeon fodder).
    Variable size fonts and tiles.
More space for the map as messages and status are side-by-side.
You rarely need to put the mouse in a pop-up to interact with it.
    Macros - hidden feature - F1=multi-rest F2=multi-search F3=try-it
It is much easier to code, so new feature-requests are more easily done.
    Sound support

In playing this game, I found that our friend Chuck didn't come up as often
as before. There are more OS's now, and Linux was represented by both
the Pinguin and Red Hat. So I replaced "Red Hat" with a second "BSD".

The game often produces an error screen when bill wins. But scores
are saved ok, and it plays fine.

0828512b9d A) From: "Brian Thomas" <thomas@astro.psu.edu>
Ok, I found the problem.. the artifact code assigns a level value
to artifacts with kind "Berserkergang". The specialweapon/apply
code, when it finds a weapon with a "level" immediately compares
the title field to the weilder's name. If they dont match, it can't
be used.

I created a patch to remove the level designation from the artifact
code since other named weaopns (cf "glamdri") dont have a level
assigned.

crossfire is a multiplayer graphical arcade and adventure game made for

interesting. Nice sound capabilities via rplay. Different players can form
a team over network. Treasure and experience points will be shared equally
among the players of a team.

8870a76e52 xboing used to lock the score file against itself. This has been due
to a wrong understanding of how the locking works. It locks on files,

34dcc6fecc acm - a flight simulator for X11.
The program still SIGFPE's for me when compiled without -g, but
that doesn't seem to be acm's fault. Also, i don't want to get my
patches lost.

The port should remain disabled in the parent Makefile until the
floating point troubles are fixed.

...desperatley hoping that i've got the import right this time. :-/

86793c984d Converted Makefiles as much as I could.
(1) Took out INSTALL_MANPAGES (not necessary anymore, porter should
set NO_INSTALL_MANPAGES for not calling "make install.man")

(2) Replaced most of DEPENDS with EXEC_DEPENDS and LIB_DEPENDS. These
    are the entries I used:

    EXEC_DEPENDS:
      unzip:${PORTSDIR}/archivers/unzip
      gmake:${PORTSDIR}/devel/gmake
      wishx:${PORTSDIR}/lang/tclX
      xli:${PORTSDIR}/graphics/xli
      gs:${PORTSDIR}/print/ghostscript
      gunshar:${PORTSDIR}/archivers/gshar+gunshar
      hfs:${PORTSDIR}/utils/hfs
      rman:${PORTSDIR}/utils/rman

    LIB_DEPENDS:
      tiff\\.3\\.:${PORTSDIR}/graphics/tiff
      jpeg\\.5\\.:${PORTSDIR}/graphics/jpeg
      Xpm\\.4\\.:${PORTSDIR}/graphics/xpm
      tcl\\.7\\.:${PORTSDIR}/lang/tcl
      tk\\.3\\.:${PORTSDIR}/x11/tk
      xview\\.1\\.:${PORTSDIR}/x11/xview-lib
      Xaw3d\\.:${PORTSDIR}/x11/Xaw3d
      mpeg\\.1\\.:${PORTSDIR}/graphics/mpeg-lib
      xview\\.3\\.:${PORTSDIR}/x11/xview-lib
      BLT\\.1\\.:${PORTSDIR}/x11/blt

There are still some dependencies I can't figure out what exactly
is needed. If your port still has DEPENDS in it, please check it out!
