John Polstra	67e588bd58	Make "-fsjlj-exceptions" (use setjmp/longjmp for exceptions) the ... default for FreeBSD. The standard exception implementation reliably dumps core under FreeBSD. Users can put "-fno-sjlj-exceptions" on the command line if they really want to override the new default. Configure with "--with-gnu-as" and "--with-gnu-ld". John Polstra	fa5dde5a30	This is a new port for egcs, which probably stands for something ... like "enhanced GNU compiler suite." It contains updated versions of gcc, g++, and g77 with many bugfixes and some new optimizations. The C++ compiler in particular is vastly improved over gcc-2.7.2.1.	1998-01-10 21:40:10 +00:00
