Ulrich Spörlein aa12cea2cc mdoc: order prologue macros consistently by Dd/Dt/Os
Although groff_mdoc(7) gives another impression, this is the ordering
most widely used and also required by mdocml/mandoc.

Increment the
.Va v_usecount
field of a vnode.

Each vnode maintains a reference count of how many parts of the system
are using the vnode.
This allows the system to detect when a vnode is
no longer being used and can be safely recycled for a different file.
