* lisp/org-indent.el (org-indent--compute-prefixes): Prefixes should
only be computed when `org-indent-indentation-per-level' is greater than
0. For one thing, the current algorithm leads to an error otherwise,
and for another, this makes it possible to use org-indent just to
preserve indentation on continuation lines, without adding any
additional indentation per level (by setting the option to 0).

* lisp/org-indent.el (org-indent-mode): Make `org-hide-leading-stars'
buffer local and revert it back to it's global value when exiting the
mode without storing it's global value manually.
(org-hide-leading-stars-before-indent-mode): Remove declaration.
This commit implements my suggestion from the mailing list
(https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-orgmode/2020-02/msg00759.html)
to rely on Emacs' native mechanisms for restoring a buffer-local
variable to it's global default value instead of storing the global
value in a temporary variable (in this case:
`org-hide-leading-stars-before-indent-mode').

* lisp/org.el (org-today, org-auto-repeat-maybe): Port time-related
changes from the Emacs repo by using compatibility wrappers.
In the Emacs repo, there has been a lot of changes to Org files
involving time-related code. I've ported some of those changes but
have largely ignored any changes that break compatibility with older
Emacsen that we support. That, however, isn't a good approach because
it will be hard to do a systematic update once we bump our minimum
Emacs requirement. Instead use the recently added compatibility
wrappers where needed, which is ugly but more maintainable.
The main time-related changes this leaves unported are changes that
replace (apply #'encode-time args) calls with (encode-time args).
Until the first form is unsupported, adding a compatibility function
doesn't seem worth the churn.

* lisp/org-indent.el (org-indent--compute-prefixes): When
`org-indent-boundary-char' doens't have `org-indent' face property in
Org Indent mode, it causes an appearance issue. When you use Org mode

face neither `whitespace-space' face nor `org-indent' face.

(org-clone-local-variables): Ignore internal local variables, whose
value is probably tied to their respective buffer. In particular, this
prevents cache related variables from being copied.
* lisp/org-indent.el (org-indent--initial-marker): Renamed from

being copied by `org-clone-local-variables' and alike.

(org-indent-initialize-buffer): Apply renaming.
* lisp/org-indent.el (org-indent-add-properties): Indent inline tasks'
contents according to current outline level, not inlinetask's. This
is consistent with hard indentation, using `org-indent-line'.

(org-indent): Make sure characters used for virtual indentation are
invisible since they are not necessarily white spaces.
(org-indent-set-line-properties): Fix indentation with proportional
font, i.e., do not use only white spaces to indent.
