1f41bcba72 (auto-revert-handler): If point (or a window point) is at the end of 
the buffer, keep it there after reverting.  This allows to tail a file.
Mention this in the `Commentary'.

329aa18857 Make it work for USE_LSB_TAG and !NO_LISP_UNION. 
(xgetptr, xgetint, xgettype): New funs.  Use them everywhere.
($nonvalbits): Remove.
($valmask): Set it by calling xreload to avoid redundancy.
