New port : ve, a Chinese command line editor, obtained from
NTHU-CS Maple BBS 2.36 src code.
From the submitter:
ve is a tiny editor, about 60K. It's woju's favorite UNIX editor.
The most obvious weakness of ve is changing TABs into Spaces. So
please don't use ve to edit TAB-important files, such as Makefile,
sendmail.cf, syslog.conf... etc.
runs under Linux, and Unix. It is similar in functionality to the
one that 3com distributes for a well known rampant legacy operating
system.

Once the dateline hase crossed the repository, the original will

Quoted from wu-ftpd group's accouncement:
Due to insufficient bounds checking on directory name lengths which can
be supplied by users, it is possible to overwrite the static memory
space of the wu-ftpd daemon while it is executing under certain
configurations. By having the ability to create directories and
supplying carefully designed directory names to the wu-ftpd, users may
gain privileged access.
