cad6814b3a Create install-man script and PLIST in ${WRKSRC}. Use TMPL_FILE more 
consistently.  Do not use variable substitution to define ${PKGNAME}
(sorry for being selfish, but having a variable here is really a pain for
my cut & paste work).

3dc460f5a8 Remove IGNOREFILES. This port works fine if you have the latest distfile. 
pst will put it somewhere he can control and change MASTER_SITES accordingly.

6b412b0c71 Upgrade to 2.6Beta (which identifies itself as 2.5.10 when started). 
Although this is a beta release, it seems to work just fine, and the
look is so much nicer, with those rendered figures ... :)

5ee09ce6ff Upgrade, 1.70 -> 1.92.4. 
Also, please note that the mechanism to build and install Mew has been
changed.  This port (mail/mew) now installs things needed by those who
use Mew with Emacs.

a200ab9536 Remove MASTER_SITE ftp.uni-frankfurt.de. 
530-Unser FTP Server ist wegen eines Plattencrash leider nicht verfuegbar.

I think the rough general translation of this is

"We have been Plattencrash'd and are now verfuegbar'ed.  While this is
theoretically a temporary situation, we are still verfuegbar'ed for the
immediately forseeable future."

Here is a brief list of the major features of this version:
   HTTP/1.1 persisitent connections.
   Lower VM usage; in-transit objects are not held fully in memory.
   Totally independent swap directories.
   Customizable error texts.
   FTP supported internally; no more ftpget.
   Asynchronous disk operations (optional, requires pthreads library).
   Internal icons for FTP and gopher directories.
   snprintf() used everywhere instead of sprintf().
   ...and many more!

As well, there is support for using MD5 or SHA hashes of URL's in the
cache index for space (and speed?) savings, SNMP support, poll(2) is
used by default, etc.
